Company Wrench engineered and fabricated this custom excavator boom tip assembly to mount directly onto the stub boom of a Kobelco SK350 high reach carrier. Designed as an alternative to a traditional high reach or long reach front, this assembly offers enhanced versatility and performance on the jobsite.
The boom tip can be pinned to the stub boom in either a straight or arched configuration. A standard factory Kobelco stick is then installed at the end of the boom tip.
In the arched position, the machine operates like a conventional excavator, ideal for standard digging and material handling.
In the straight position, the carrier functions as a short high reach machine, capable of handling a larger demolition tool than would be possible with a full high reach front.
This setup gives operators the flexibility to adapt the SK350 to a wide range of applications with minimal changeover time.
