EXCAVATORS
Tracked excavators used in demolition applications often benefit from a few specific optimizations. Most customers prefer to use an LC (long carriage) package because the longer undercarriage provides better traction and stability. Factory OEM hydraulic systems often need to be customized to accommodate rotation functions for demolition attachments. A solid cab guard is also a must-have addition to protect the operator from falling debris. Depending on the weight of an attachment, sometimes a custom counterweight is needed. Company Wrench also offers a unique customization on many rental carriers called the Dual Pin Boom, which allows the boom cylinder to be pinned lower so that the excavator’s attachment can reach higher than the factory spec.

HIGH REACH EXCAVATORS
High Reach Excavators are used when precision is needed in demolishing buildings that are located in heavily populated areas or near other buildings that cannot risk being damaged in an explosive demolition. Many times, a ramp is built out of dirt and debris to give the high reach machine extra height to reach the top of the structure. As the premier North American distributor of Kocurek demolition fronts, Company Wrench offers many cutting edge features such as the Stubb Boom/Modular Joint (allows the front to be quickly attached/detached with hydraulic pins), extensions, telescopic booms (which reach extreme heights), and dust suppression systems. SKID STEERS/SKID LOADERS
Skid loaders (aka skid steers) are often used in demolition applications for moving materials around a site, demolishing a building’s interior walls, and clearing out medium to small-sized debris. Company Wrench offers many specialized attachments that work well in demolition applications, such as the Pemberton Scrap Grapple Bucket, LaBounty 7R Shear, LaBounty Cyclone Drop Hammer, and the Stanley Hydraulic Hammer.

DUST SUPPRESSION EQUIPMENT
Demolition sites in most areas are required by law to have a dust suppression plan of action. Many sites have neighboring public areas that could become a potential EPA issue. Dust suppression cannons throw up a wall of fine mist that knocks down dust at a molecular level before it can leave your site. Company Wrench rents a full line of mobile dust control solutions to suit your site’s specific needs. The Hawc 300-80-D is the most powerful cannon in the line up with water throw that reaches upto 350 ft and provides 196,000 sq ft of coverage. Diesel and electric units are available with trailers and generators (if applicable). The Hydra Package comes with a 1000-gallon water tank, making it a totally self-contained unit.

MSD SHEAR ATTACHMENTS
Mobile Shears are easily the most popular demolition attachment, as they are used to cut up beams, girders, plate, and other metallic structures. Company Wrench offers the full lineup of LaBounty Shear attachments and can offer advice on which model would be recommended for your project, depending on the material thickness that needs to be sheared. Shears can be mounted on a multitude of carriers, from skid steers to a PC1250. The carrier size would determine whether the shear is mounted 2nd or 3rd member. Our rental units come ready-to-work and our Parts and Service departments can provide you with replacement wear parts. On-site part delivery and/or service technician installment of wear parts is available.

MOBILE DEMOLITION PROCESSORS
Mobile Demolition Processors, or MDPs, are high powered attachments used to crush and process concrete in both primary and secondary demolition. Not only does the jaw design make quick work of concrete, but it also has a cutting blade located toward the back of the jaw set to shear rebar that’s hidden within concrete into manageable pieces for transportation and recycling.

CONCRETE PULVERIZING ATTACHMENTS
Concrete Pulverizers, or CPs, are great for crushing and processing concrete on demolition sites. The LaBounty Concrete Pulverizer models feature patented, pin-on Swift Lock teeth that allow field change-out in minutes. The jaws of the CP are actuated by the excavator’s bucket cylinder with an additional hydraulic circuit needed. Company Wrench has been awarded a design patent on a specialized version of the attachment called the CP-100 Magnet Combo, where a large powered magnet is mounted beneath the jaws of the CP so that rebar can be collected and sorted into separate piles, economizing workflow.

UNIVERSAL PROCESSORS
Universal Processors, or UPs, have three different jaw sets that can be quickly installed to do a variety of work with the same attachment. Concrete Cracking jaws (CC) can crack up large concrete structures like columns or beams. The Concrete Pulverizing jaws (CP) can crush and process concrete while the Shear jaws (SH) are used to cut metal and demolish buildings.

HDR CONTRACTORS GRAPPLES
Contractors Grapples are used to sort, move, and load heavy structural debris of all shapes and sizes. These attachments play a key role on demolition sites, as they clear debris to make paths so other machines can move freely around the demolition area. They are also great for sorting materials or loading trucks to haul material to recycling facilities.

HYDRAULIC HAMMERS/BREAKERS
Hydraulic Hammers or Breakers are used in demolishing concrete structures, flooring, footers, and bedrock. Company Wrench offers a full line of hydraulic hammers to give you the exact amount of power you will need for your specific job. Machine and Hammer packages are available, as well as hybrid packages. Hybrid packages come with the patented Second Member Hammer Bracket, which allows a powerful 16,000 lb class hammer to be mounted 2nd member on a much smaller weight class carrier than normally required. This can save on fuel, transportation, and carrier rental charges.
