Getting Your Kobelco Excavators Ready for Spring

March 31, 2020
Spring weather is quickly arriving, and Company Wrench wants to make sure your Kobelco excavators are good to go for their first use after winter. Whether you are a professional in demolition or a homeowner getting ready for your first big project, it is important to take the proper steps to ensure the best operation of your excavator as possible.  Company Wrench sells and rents the popular SK140SRLC-5, SK210LC-10 & SK350LC-10 models of Kobelco excavators. Our customers tend to prefer these machines because they are equipped with a bucket that can ship in one load, meaning it can unload and immediately go to work. Larger machines typically require additional trucks and a technician to assemble. These are some of our best tips to ensure your excavator is ready for whatever job you need it to handle this spring. Over time, water and sediment can accumulate in the fuel tank, leading to clogged fuel filters or eventually damaging your fuel delivery system. Be sure to drain the water out of the bottom of the tank and fuel water separators to avoid costly downtime. Your operator will definitely be happier in a cool cab. Check over your air-conditioning operation and make sure your belts are tight and in good condition.  Check for any hydraulic, engine or water leaks that may have shown up during the winter months. If you notice a leak, you can contact your local Company Wrench service department. We can provide you with expertise and any parts needed to get your machine back to work.  Top off any fluids that may be low, including swing and final drive levels.  Take a look at your wiper blade to make sure it’s free of tears and hasn’t hardened over the winter. This will make sure your operator always has a clear view. If you need to replace your blade, it will take no more than five minutes. You want to make sure your work lights and travel alarm are fully operational before your excavator goes to work. Be sure to carefully check over both. We understand how important it is that your Kobelco excavator is ready to go as soon as possible. Company Wrench aims to go above and beyond when servicing your machine and will do everything we can to get parts and equipment needed to have your excavator up and running.  Learn more about our Service Department and contact us today! JCB in 2020 – Benefits, Highlights, New Machines

March 18, 2020
JCB has long been heralded as one of the best brands for heavy machinery. A family business since the late 1940s, JCB was the first to invent the backhoe loader back in 1952. This machine revolutionized the industry. JCB went on to create products such as the Telehandler, Hydradig, Telescopic Skid Steer, and the all-new 1CXT, a track loader with the capabilities of a backhoe. Why are these machines so amazing? It all comes down to the thought that JCB puts into its function and design. JCB stays ahead of the changing demands of the construction, demolition, and other industries. JCB machines have some of the lowest cost of ownership and are in high demand around the world. JCB units also do not have a need for DPF filters, this means more uptime, and more efficiency throughout the entire project. In addition to simple innovation, JCB focuses on operator and job site safety. JCB track loaders and skid steers have a side open door which deviates from the traditional front doors these machines. This saves people from having to step over the front of a bucket and reduces accidents and falls. The iconic powerboom loader arm provides 60% better visibility than other machines in their class. As a company never satisfied with the status quo, JCB continues to develop technology for the future. JCB recently launched the 1CXT—a tracked backhoe that combines the best features of a skid steer with the functionality of a mini-excavator. They also introduced the JCB 2TS which is a smaller version of the award-winning 3TS teleskid. The 2TS is the first and only small platform teleskid with a telescoping boom. The boom features 12 feet of lift height and a 7-foot forward reach. Both the teleskid line and the 1CXT are like nothing the industry has seen before. With these and other products, JCB continues to push the envelope on design, quality, and safety. Company Wrench stands firm behind the JCB brand and can help you find the perfect machine for whatever your project calls for—from backhoes to excavators to wheel loaders and beyond.  Company Wrench is a top dealer for the JCB and offers certified JCB technicians, as well as a knowledgeable parts department with availability on a huge selection of JCB parts.
